Fact-Checking Policy

Accuracy is a core principle of The OmniPost.

Before publication, articles undergo editorial review that may include:

  • Verification of factual claims
  • Cross-referencing with primary sources
  • Confirmation of dates, statistics, and quotations
  • Review of scientific and technical terminology
  • Assessment of context and limitations of research findings

When reporting on scientific studies, we strive to present findings accurately and avoid overstating conclusions. We also seek to communicate important limitations, uncertainties, and ongoing debates within the scientific community when relevant.

Despite our efforts, errors may occasionally occur. When identified, we take prompt action to correct them.
